How To Dress for your Bridal Shower

It’s your special day, but remember to not go overboard. (Please, no tiaras! That only works for Paris Hilton!!)
Stay classic when it comes to clothing, hair and make-up. Some nice ideas for clothing would be a colored wrap dress to flatter most figures, or a simple tailored dress in a fun, seasonal color.
For hair and make-up you also want to stay classic. No one wants to look back at pictures and see some crazy fashion trend gone too far. Hair pulled up in a classic ponytail with a strand of hair around the elastic is always a sophisticated look. Spray hair lightly and use recommended products for your hair type.
For make-up, stick with a tinted moisturizer instead of pounds of foundation and powder. And play up either your eyes OR lips. Do both and you’re bound to look over-done.
Avoid the “smoky” eye. When it’s not done right it could leave you looking like the bride of frankenstein! Instead, try a thin eyeliner and nudeneyeshadow with extra mascara (waterproof!) And for lipstick go with something sheer and reapply as needed!
Remember: enjoy yourself and keep things simple. Sometimes less IS more!
